First, thank you for this detailed explanation- it’s perfect. Secondly, this assertation is only true in the case of complete rationality of humans which we know to be false.
Are you meaning to put this analysis in actual terms or in “perfect economic” terms?
Because as we know, a person who makes $10/ hour shouldn’t be willing to pay $50 for the use of the toll but will often be willing to pay $50 for the use of the toll.
