Hey Lindz,

I plan to do a similar data story on the wage gap because men do get paid more than women and in my research thus far I havent found a logical reason why. The only thing I can point to is that men started in the workforce before women did. Seniority often plays a role in pay level. For example, if you work at a company longer than someone else but you are equal in every other way- you will very likely be paid more than that other person. I’m not defending the pay gap- but I would like to understand why it is happening from an economic point of view. Thanks for the response!
