How Entrepreneurs Earn Trust To Make Sales
From the Mad Men era of marketing in the 60’s to the current wave of technological futurism- new approaches to selling will never cease to populate bookshelves and classrooms.
Though the process may change, one thing has remained consistent throughout the history of marketing and that is the simple fact that we sell to humans.
Although it is often our least favorite hat to wear, Entrepreneurs have to do much of the selling for their companies- especially in the early days.
But, sales doesn’t have to be dreadful. It’s really not about pushing customers into a decision or conning your way into a choice- it is about figuring out how to clearly communicate the benefits of your product while clearly demonstrating why your prospects should trust your product.
This is no easy feat but the good news is there’s a formula for this process and I didn’t make it up- evolution did. Essentially, the brain wants to be sold to in a particular way.
