How To Create Your Own Fitness Routine
If we have learned anything from the world-wide quarantine resulting from the Coronavirus it is that we are not prepared to be locked in our houses 24/7. There are so many things we can’t do including going out to eat and hanging out in the park but the thing I miss the most is going to the gym. I know it sounds crazy, but I would do anything to have that freedom again.
We don’t know how long the quarantine will persist but I think we’re all approaching our breaking point. The novelty has worn off and the chaos has set in. We need routines and goals now more than ever. It’s time we stop feeling bad for ourselves and take back control: starting with fitness.
Building a fitness routine isn’t hard but it is deeply personal and it works best when developed in a certain way.
#1: Choose a Goal
Do you want to lose 10 lbs.? Do you want to shape a six-pack? Do you want to be more flexible? These are the questions to ask yourself before beginning to develop your workout plan. You should be honest with yourself and realistic with regards to your time, capability, and physics.
