I feel this pain in my soul. Working in finance and venture capital, it’s just an aura you know is around but you can’t touch it or shove it away. I know that partners think these mandatory-mentorship assignments will help the cause but it doesn't (to be fair, it doesn’t make it worse either).

On the bright side, the glass ceiling is only there if you allow it to be. The remainder of this article reminds us of that.
