I learned so much from this article. As someone working in finance, I create a lot of reports that are basic at best. I am working to improve my “data viz game” and these examples are so enchanting.

One question I had for you is, do you think there are fundamentals of great data visualization design? You mentioned the use of color-coding as an excellent tool for conveying a message, I’m wondering if there are other “basic building blacks” like this.
