It seems like the logical/ rational reason brands are finding so much success on Instagram is due to the photo-first simple layout and the direct to consumer communication.

But, as you point out, there is also something really relatable about a brand’s Instagram posts that isn’t there in the marketing they do off-Instagram.

I think the value of the second point is underrepresented when social media marketing is being evaluated.
