I’ve thought a lot about this type of alert detection system. Most of my research has been around what would happen if wearables (like the Apple watch) could detect a health issue, for example- an irregular heart rate- but the thinking could just as well work for these brain chips you’re describing.
The question I always come back to, and the question I pose to you, is: who are the “right parties” to be alerted when something is not right. And, do these parties want to be alerted? Will they even do anything if they are alerted?
The issue is- we can detect trauma all day long but if no one is going to receive the alerts and respond to them- the detection is essentially useless.
