Please explain to me why the analogy I used is wrong. No seriously, elaborate on your understanding of the analogy I’m dying to hear it.

But I fail to see where the analogy is wrong and I don’t know what you’re referring to with the “bad example” comment.
Sushi bought by the piece is generally less expensive than Sushi bought by the roll but people buy the sushi by the roll far more often then they purchase it by the piece individually.
The article was about how bundling products often makes things more expensive (think cruise lines and car purchases) but people purchase bundles over individual items because they’re willing to pay a premium for convenience.
Now, tell me how the sushi roll example doesn’t work there.
