Fitness centers are not a new concept in hotels. They are usually windowless rooms in basements with broken equipment and weird smells- but they exist. For some of the previously listed reasons and others that stem from lack of interest, time, and/or motivation to exercise- most people avoid working out while traveling. But what if the hotel gym wasn’t just a 4 walls, a bench, and some weights? What if you took the elevator down to the bottom floor and the doors opened to reveal a room that was filled with internet connected cardio machines, the latest in functional training equipment, cool low vibe-y lights, a passionate workout instructor, and loud high energy music. Now, imagine you are gifted a heart rate monitor to keep you on pace throughout the entire exercise experience. That is what is happening right now in Boca Raton, FL.
