Someone else brought up maternity leave and “gaps in employment” and I agreed that that data would be really interesting to add into an analysis of the gender compensation disparity. At this point in history it seems as if the laws afford women and men the ability to choose the same careers (whether they are offered the same jobs is another story) so I don’t know what data I could look at to understand the compensation gap in regards to that. Can you think of any that may help? Thanks for the response!
