The problem I have struggled to understand with this kind of (what I call) health alert technology is what happens next. There are so many examples, like the one you’ve provided here, of incredible technology that can now detect an issue and alert someone to the problem- but who is that someone?

What if that someone doesn’t want to be alerted (like your doctor- who isn’t on call every day)? What if that someone doesn't do anything when they receive the alert or what if they miss it?

These are the practical questions that need to be answered and I feel like they are getting avoided in most AI-health conversations because they are hard.

Let us marvel over new technology but also make sure the tech is valuable from a proactive standpoint.

(Also, thank you for this interview- it is great!)
