This is interesting and, in my experience, true. I love finding out the reason behind something I had an intuition on. Of course that’s the reason why investors turn down two person pitches- the founders are assumed to be in a power struggle! Thanks for pointing this out- it’s important because most of the literature is on what to pitch but not how to (or how not to) pitch.
