What did you learn about Venture Capitalists or the way that they invest that made you change your mind about bootstrapping?

To be clear, I’m genuinely curious not insinuating anything. It’s always been my opinion that companies that can be self-funded (using customer-generated revenues) should be self-funded.

There are some instances where I know that it’s not possible for startups to be self-funded and these include tech-heavy startups as well as ones in the Health/ Bio sector because they’re so capital intensive and the process to market fit takes a lot longer.

So, just curious- what made you change your mind?
