Why Is It So Hard To Build an Entrepreneur Networking Site?

If I had to name the one thing that has frustrated me throughout my professional career, it’s the fact that there is no good way to connect with other entrepreneurs. There are apps that can deliver you food from 5-Star Resturants, sites where you can build and furnish an exact 3-D replica of your home, and ones where you can instantly engage in a therapy session with a licensed psychiatrist- but for some reason, we can’t figure out how to make a hybrid Facebook/ LinkedIn for entrepreneurs. Why?

If you type “Networking Sites For Entrepreneurs” into Google you’ll get approximately 93,500,000 results.

How have we failed as an innovation society 93 Million times?

While everyone is off developing AI and VR for the future of the internet, we’ve forgotten about the thing that made the internet what it is: Social.

With sites like Facebook, apps like Instagram, and platforms like LinkedIn- we have watched the world shrink to neighborhood size nearly overnight. This massive transformation has been disruptive for every single industry from retail to banking. Live chat-bots pop in to handle our every request and anyone you want to meet is just an email away.

But with all of this connectivity- how is it that entrepreneurs still have a hard time finding…
