Yes it is (or it should be) but the unfortunate thing is that as something becomes common knowledge it gets pushed to the subconscious. Like children, if you ask them a question, even the most basic question like where do you live, they will be baffled for a moment and the adult will have to start explaining what they meant. Intuitively, the adult knows to break it down into focus because that’s too large of a question for a child. The adult will have to say “I mean, do you live in this town or do you live far away?” or the adult will say “what is your address?” But the adult doesn’t think “oh the child was confused, I must have had bad phrasing quality” they just re-explain.
My thought is, we could write about all the moments where adults don’t stop and say “that was bad quality” and instead they just pummel through the questions they’re asked after they explain something.
It’s more like give a man a fish he can eat for today vs. teach a man to fish he can eat for a lifetime. If that makes sense.
